TDK-Lambda UK Ltd (TLU) is a successful and long established design and manufacturing company of standard and configurable AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies situated on the pleasant North Devon Coast. We are entering an exciting period of change and expansion with ambitious plans for the manufacturing facility.
**Summary**
The above vacancy has arisen within the UK Export Sales Department. We are looking for an Export Sales Representative to support our intercompany partners and help develop global business for TLU.
Reporting to the Export Sales Manager, the role will be responsible for providing support to our intercompany partners to maintain and develop business for TLU products both manufactured in the UK and Asian factories. The role will predominantly be office based with the potential for occasional travel to visit global Intercompany partners for sales conferences/exhibitions and customer support.
**Responsibilities**.
- Have a good working knowledge of the company CRM system and work within it. (Training will be provided.)
- Maintain good knowledge of product portfolio and future roadmap.
- Knowledge of where to access supporting product data and other resources.
- Awareness and access to the companies’ rules and procedures.
- Work closely and effectively with Internal departments and the Export Sales Manager.
- Have a strategic and methodical approach.
- Have good time management skills and prioritise tasks.
- Understand all aspects of the regional financial targets.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Existing Intercompany or external sales experience is not essential, however understanding of commercial processes will be an advantage.
- Computer literate in MS platforms (working knowledge of CRM, Excel & Word)
- Proficient skills for data collation and analysis.
- Good communication skills operating via different media methods are essential.
- Inquisitive nature and attention to detail, even when working under pressure, will be vital to success in this role.
- Ability to use existing knowledge to question and suggest alternative processes or products will be advantageous to development within this role.
The successful applicant will work a 36.25 hour week - Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and Friday 7:30am - 1pm.
