**HOME DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLY SERVICE JOB SPECIFICATIONS**

The Chelsea Gardener is looking for an experienced and energetic **Full Time Assembly and Delivery Driver to join our team**

To fulfill this permanent position, you will need to make use of the following skills and achieve the following requirements:

- Valid UK Driving License and good knowledge of driving code and parking restrictions in central London.
- Strong physical fitness to be able to manage on your own and with help lifting, carrying and standing both at our store and at customers homes.
- Problem solving attitude and the ability to work on your own initiative.
- The ability to work under pressure and flexibility in responding to changing circumstances, a willingness to take on additional tasks to ensure the activity and work run smoothly.
- Friendly, welcoming, polite approach to customers and good presentation.
- DIY and general maintenance skills
- Highly organised and responsible.
- Flexibility, reliability and adaptability.
- The ability to operate on your own and as part of a team.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good command of English.
- Driving company’s vehicle when required, including Customer home deliveries and transfer of company’s goods.
- Installation and assembly of products when required, including garden furniture, BBQ, planting up and Christmas trees.
- Organising and making sure all goods are up to standard to be delivered, and contacting customers when necessary to inform about schedule and any other queries.
- Responsible for making sure the delivery and installation are executed smoothly, professionally and efficiently. This is crucial to keep a good reputation of the business, so the customer’s last impression of the business is the best. Punctuality is very important, as is proper communication with the customer if there are any problems or delays.
- Organising and keeping functional, neat and tidy tools, equipment and vehicle required for Home Delivery and Assembly Services.
- Helping out in other areas of the business and assisting other members of staff as required, including organisation and maintenance of backyard and storage areas, including waste disposal.
- Following rules and procedures in place, including time keeping and appearance.

**Salary depending on experience and skills, plus bonus incentive scheme.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £28,500.00 per year

- Light Commercial Vehicle & Delivery Drivers: 1 year (required)
- delivery driver: 1 year (required)
- driving: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving License (required)
