**About the role**:
**Position**: Senior Nursery Practitioner
**Hours**: 34h per week (term-time only)
**Location**: Enfield, EN3
**Salary**: £14 ph

We are currently in search of a Senior Nursery Practitioner to join the team at a small 32-place nursery situated in Enfield, London. As a key member, you'll oversee staff, support children's development, and ensure a safe, stimulating environment.

**Duties**:

- Supervising and supporting nursery staff in daily activities
- Assisting in planning and implementing the nursery curriculum
- Acting as a key person for a group of children, including monitoring their development and progress
- Providing guidance and support to less experienced staff members
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery
- Liaising with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and well-being
- Participating in staff meetings and training sessions
- Assisting in administrative tasks as required
- Contributing to the overall improvement of the nursery environment and practices.

**Requirements**:

- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or above.
- Experience as a room leader, third in charge or deputy in a nursery setting.
- Thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and inspire teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
