Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Independent Safeguarding & Reviewing Officer in Bedford Borough Council.

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Team Manager, ideally with strong experience managing a team within Assessment, however team management experience within any children's services will be considered.

**Your daily responsibilities will include**:

- Consultation with social workers and team manager and area managers over child protection plans and CLA plans
- Chairing CP and CLA reviews
- Managing own diary and timescales
- Advising on safeguarding practice and procedures
- Giving advice to workers on practice and care plans
- Dictating summaries and care plan
- Making CP plans that are SMART
- Keeping meetings child focused

**Essential Requirements**:

- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- At least 2 years' experience as a Team Manager within children's services
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
