**Overview
**We are looking for a Brand Manager to head up our Creative Department We are a rapidly growing and evolving Fuel and Oil distribution business. You will work closely with our Managing Director to take ownership to shape the creative direction of ourvisual brand.
As the Brand Manager at New Era Fuels, you will oversee all Marketing, Graphic Design and Brand awareness for the business.

**Responsibilities**
- Communicate the success of the marketing team to management
- Meeting Account Managers or the Senior Management Team to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the creative collateral
- Set brand standards and guidelines
- Liaising with Press and Advertising streams
- Develop appropriate creative ideas and concepts for New Era Fuels objectives.
- Estimating the time required to complete a job
- Developing design briefs that suit the requirements
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within time and cost constraints
- Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to account managers
- Working with a range of media
- Proof reading to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print
- Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists

**Qualifications & Skills
**Ideally an (Hons) in Graphic Design or similar. We would also like you to have:

- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Large format design experience
- Experience sourcing and liaising with printers and external suppliers
- Corporate literature experience

**Work experience
**A minimum of 5 years’ experience is a must for this role, as you’ll be presenting ideas direct to our CEO and Managing Directors, so a positive and confidence approach is needed.
A full portfolio is required when interviewing for the positioning.

**Apart from technical skills, you will also need to show**
- Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair
- A flexible and proactive approach when working in a team
- Excellent communication skills to interpret and negotiate briefs with clients
- Good presentation skills and the confidence to explain and sell ideas to clients and colleagues
- Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at a time
- Accuracy and attention to detail when finalising designs
- That you are open to feedback and willing to make changes to your designs
- Effective networking skills to build contacts
