**Job Description**:
**Please note this is a part time position working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 till 13:00.**

This position will be physical demanding job with heavy lifting involved on a daily basis. Jobs can differ from one day to another, but main duties to include:

- Received deliveries - and recall all invoices and paperwork back to office.
- Complete stock take sheet weekly.
- Maintenance of accurate and systematic records as detailed in the quality procedures.
- Work with the team on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report any anomalies or concerns direct to your line leader.
- Uphold and maintain client and company confidentiality.
- Maintenance of laboratory fittings and equipment as directed.
- Undertake all tasks within the laboratory appropriate to your level of training.
- Ensure personal protective equipment is worn in accordance with the Health & Safety policy.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the post as required
- Responsible for ensuring that UK health and safety legislation is maintained and helping to ensure that the working environment is kept in a clean and tidy manner with due attention to the careful maintenance of all laboratory fittings and equipment.
- Work with the team to drive the laboratory forward through continuous improvement.
- Responsible for promoting a professional image of the Company and for complying with the company's Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policies at all times, including work related events which take place outside normal working hours.
- Any other reasonable tasks as delegated by the line manager

**Qualifications**:

- Good organisational and technical problem-solving skills
- Stores experience will be of advantage.
- Capable of working well under pressure
- Reliable and thorough
- Willing to take on responsibility
- A passion for providing a safe working environment
