**Complex Care Assistant**

**Regular Shifts Available - £14.05 per hour**

Innovate Care is a growing organisation who provides support to adults and children with complex care needs in their own homes. We enable our clients to remain in their own homes whilst being cared for by professional and highly trained Health Care Workers and Registered Nurses. We pride ourselves on delivering care that truly meets the needs of the individual we support and provide a first-class service to the teams who support these individuals.

Innovate Care are looking for an experienced Complex Health Care Worker to support a child who has been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder which is a developmental disability that affects his social communication and interaction skills. He has some additional complex clinical needs including tracheostomy and gastrostomy.

Our client requires support with activities of daily living and to keep him safe from harm. He is independently mobile but will sometimes use his wheelchair to prevent him from feeling breathless. He enjoys using his iPad, spending time with his family and benefits from being in a structured environment with familiar activities.

Full training provided

**Shift pattern & Role**

This role is to support the child at school or at his home

8am-4pm or 9am-3pm

**Requirements**:

- Have the ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
- Have an understanding of safeguarding
- Be able to fit into a family setting
- Experience of working with children with complex needs
