**Position**: Ice Cream Salesperson/Barista

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Customer Service**: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

2. **Team Player**: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive work environment and efficiently serve customers during busy periods.

3. **Barista Skills**: Utilize existing barista skills or demonstrate a quick ability to learn to prepare and serve coffee and other beverages.

4. **Time Management**: Efficiently manage time to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.

5. **Weekend Commitment**: Commit to working busy weekends, including opening and closing shifts, to support the operation of our gelato place.

6. **Till Operations**: Handle transactions accurately and responsibly, demonstrating proficiency in money handling procedures.

7. **Cleaning Standards**: Maintain basic cleaning standards to ensure a clean and hygienic workspace for both staff and customers.

8. **Multitasking**: Juggle various tasks such as scooping gelato, preparing beverages, and restocking supplies while maintaining quality and efficiency.

9. **Restocking**: Monitor inventory levels and take responsibility for restocking items as needed to ensure smooth operations.

10. **Flexible Availability**: Be willing to work flexible hours, including during school holidays, our busiest periods.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior barista experience essential.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work weekends and flexible hours, especially during peak seasons. WORKING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, WEEKENDS AND CHRISTMAS A MUST.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
