**Job summary**:
HM Land Registry launched the new Local Land Charges Register in the summer of 2018. In order to facilitate the expedient migration of local authority data onto the HM Land Registry digital register, a Data Transformation Team was established, that partners with local authorities to undertake a range of administrative tasks to access, extract, and capture Local Land Charges (LLC) data.

We have an exciting opportunity for 19 Administrators to be part of the Data Transformation team, working in local authority settings and HM Land Registry (HMLR) offices, delivering a range of administrative support duties; providing bulk scanning of paper LLC Registers, data input and capturing spatial data.

This role will provide insight into the Local Land Charges Programme working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will receive full training to ensure you have a good understanding of local land charges.

**Job description**:
Providing bulk scanning of local authority paper records, data inputting of LLC charges from scanned images to create digital records and enabling creation of spatial extents. Identifying and escalating data issues to programme colleagues, you will travel to local authority offices to undertake data fixes, data input and scanning of LLC when required.

The role will provide an exciting opportunity to develop your own skills as well as joining an enthusiastic and focused national team. You will enjoy excellent levels of support from colleagues and benefit from further development opportunities and continued training.

This role may involve occasional national travel which can include being away from home, with overnight stays, sometimes at short notice.

Please note for the first 4 weeks of training, you may be required to attend an office and you must be able to commit to working at least 30 hours per week within the training period.

**Person specification**:
You will be methodical and have high attention to detail, when completing data entry, also being able to maintain accuracy, whilst working at pace. You will have a good understanding of IT literacy and PC skills including Outlook, Word and Excel.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role, with excellent organisational and time management skills, whilst being able to prioritise your workload effectively, meeting challenging and changeable deadlines. You will have the ability to react positively to change and be able to demonstrate experience in responding to gaps and errors in information, to resolve problems and understanding when to escalate issues and seek help.
