**Description**

The Recruitment Assistant will proactively contribute to the effective and efficient generation of leads, sale and delivery of fixed term or interim recruitment services to organisations including local authorities and other public and private sector customers.Full roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Providing an efficient, top quality, client focused service to clients, associates and other stakeholders
- Engaging with, and supporting the development of the relationships with local government and other public sector employers
- Taking a lead role in coordinating resourcing/recruitment activities, when responding to client requests
- Proactively engage with the market as required to generate leads and effective client and associate relationships
- Taking part in the assessment and registration of new associates as required, for example, interviewing and checking references as they are received

**Profile**

We're looking for someone with;
- Ideally, experience providing a recruitment/resourcing service for local authority and wider public sector clients
- Customer relationship management skills experience - including initiating, building and maintaining client relationships, through face to face meetings, events, conferences and calls
- Experience in skills matching techniques through recruitment & selection, talent management or training
- A strong knowledge of local government services and its inter-relationships with the wider public sector
- Results orientated, with a track record of delivering on time, together with the ability to drive and complete tasks to challenging deadlines and required quality standards
- Experience of effective team working, with the ability to forge strong internal and external relationships
