**Apprentice Medical Day Unit Administrator Part Time (22.5) hours per week**
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is the world's first hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education. The Apprentice Medical Day unit Administrator will be an integral member of the Team,you will be enrolled on the Business Administrator Apprenticeship Level 3 with Cancer Care embedded with PMA Ltd.
**What will the apprentice be doing?**
The administrator is an integral member of the Medical Day Unit team, under the supervision of the Sister of the MDU and the Matron for Day Care Services. The post holder will coordinate all administrative aspects of the Day Care Services including data collection, reception and clerical duties.
**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**
The successful apprentice will be enrolled on the Business Administrator Apprenticeship Level 3 with Cancer Care embedded with PMA Ltd. This will include Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
Training from the employer:
In house training on NHS systems and visual/audio learning.
Internal Mandatory training
