**Workforce Planning Analyst** **Permanent Opportunity** **Manchester / Hybrid** What the role involves - Continuously adapt and develop workforce strategy to our operations, based on both core and strategic needs, ensuring fit for purpose insight is available for differing audience requirements - Partner cross-functionally across HR, Business, Finance and other functions to create a strategic approach to hiring and retaining the correct amount of resource - Lead initiatives to identify strategic workforce requirements, where critical gaps may exist, and how to close them - Analyse key service, by analysing metrics and enhancing existing views to bring greater focus and clarity to workforce strategy reporting - Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders, whilst proactively solving problems and recommending solutions supported with data and owning the prioritisation of activity - Provide insight and clear, data driven recommendation to the Operations leadership team, and consistently champion the latest tools and technology to deliver an excellent service - Drive improvements to internal processes and manage customer and stakeholder expectations, whilst implementing changes **To Be Successful In This Role, You Will** - Exceptional & proven Microsoft Excel capability, a go to individual with proven ability to create and maintain complex formula and data manipulation. This is a primary skillset that will be tested and challenged throughout - Proven Capability in demand forecasting and supply optimisation - Outstanding communication skills with an engaging personality - Strong commercial, relationship, communication, and people focus. - Experience of improving performance by introducing more efficient working practices/technology. - Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, in a planning or relevant technical discipline. - Passionate about planning, "Always on", flexible. With a positive "can do" attitude - Possess skills to manage the work load of the team and fulfil existing KPI's
