Jark (Bradford) Ltd Driving Recruitment Division require a Drivers mate for our client based in the Keighley area.
Duties:
- Assist and support the LGV driver in making deliveries to unload high volumes of milk products in milk crates and roll cages.
- Loading and unloading of wagons with high volumes of milk products in milk crates and roll cages on dispatch along with assisting with other dispatch duties as required.
- Assist LGV drivers to collect all empty milk crates and roll cages.
- Support the LGV driver with all other non-driving duties
- Understand and follow all work instructions, company procedures & customer procedures
- Agree to undertake and adhere to all Health & Safety procedures including the reporting of all accidents or near misses.
- Agree to undertake & adhere to all hygiene rules and adopt a clean as you go attitude.
- Report to a manger anything that would stop you from carrying out your job role in an efficient, safe or hygienic manner.
- Document data as requested by Transport Manager.
- Wear protective clothing/overalls, safety footwear and any other safety equipment as required.
- Responsibility to carry out the delivery of product to company policy’s, processes and procedures that ensure product supplied meets food safety, quality and legal standards.
- You must ensure you have the relevant training to undertake all your duties or tasks if not inform your Manager.
The position will be based on a minimum of 35 hours a week over a 4 day working pattern which will include a Saturday. Start times will be 9am onwards.
There will be opportunity for up to 48 hours/week either through extended days or working additional days on the loading bay and the hourly rate of £9.58 per hour.
£9.58 per hour up £13.85 per hour including bonuses when fully trained
This is a temporary to permanent position after 12 weeks of working
