Customer Service Administrator

A client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a Customer Service Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying up to £22,000 per annum depending on experience.
**Your key duties in this Customer Service Administrator role will include but are not limited to**:
- Providing a professional service and an excellent standard of customer service
- To provide administration support in all areas as required
- To prioritise workloads and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and targets
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between client, suppliers, sub-contractors, and other staff as necessary
- To answer phone calls and enquiries efficiently and effectively
- Procurement of new Sales Orders, processing of supplier and subcontractor purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors to acknowledge each order, assist with any enquires they may have, and final confirm each purchase order to the agreed specification, price, and required delivery date
- Provide regular updates to the client
- Ensure client payments are made according to the agreed contract payment terms and company procedures
- Monitor delivery of goods into the warehouse or to site and liaise with the suppliers on any missing or damaged goods.
- Process client variations (Contract Amendments and Additional Contracts) as agreed with the client, Design Consultant & Project Manager
- Plan and execute any client aftersales requirements
- Maintain and update the company's in-house database systems
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, Design Consultant, colleagues, suppliers and sub-contractors
- Undertake any reasonable requests from the Management/Directors
**Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and organised individual
- Previous Administration, Call Centre and Customer Service experience
- GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics
- An understanding of the building industry desirable
- A good understanding and confident in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
