Bhav Kotecha is working exclusively to recruit for a good opportunity with Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company (CMBC) to recruit for a **Risk & Compliance Officer** on a hybrid basis with 2/3 days in Northampton site with occasional travel to Breweries nationally.

This role will need to get in front of people across the business and provides excellent exposure to wide range of both Internal & External stakeholders.

Recruiting for **Risk & Compliance Officer**to join, who will be responsible for driving the adoption and compliance within the Group Control Framework for UK Companies. Reporting to the**Financial Controller**this role will be responsible for:
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for coordinating, testing and reporting on the Internal Control Framework over Financial Reporting in the UK
- Provide assurance on the effectiveness of controls to senior management
- Responsible for planning, coordination and follow-up of internal audits performed by the Group
- To work closely with stakeholders across the business to define and track progress against action plans
- Implement new internal control requirements or provide advice on updates to the teams when required
- Ownership of the Company Chart of Authority for core accounting systems - ensure the list is compliant with Group rules on segregation of duties and appropriate for the Company
- UK point of contact for internal audit, controls and compliance processes
- Responsible for reviewing data protection procedures
- Support to the UK accounting team on external audits

**Experience and Key Attributes**:

- A Certified Internal Auditor or professional accounting qualification desirable
- Previous experience in internal controls and risk management is desirable
- A high level of integrity with strong sense of responsibility
- An ability to spot gaps in control and prioritise based on risk
- Ability to identify process improvements & challenge existing ways of doing things
- Ability to work independently, productively, and part of a team
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Knowledge of IFRS & FRS102 would be an advantage
