We have some exciting opportunities to join the NHS Supply Chain Logistics network As an MHE Warehouse Operative, working as part of a team, you’ll complete a range of daily tasks to ensure the smooth flow of the product through the Warehouse and DistributionCentre, fulfilling internal and external customer requirements.
**MHE Warehouse Operative responsibilities include:**:

- Pick, check, store and pack goods either manually or using RF technology to a high standard of accuracy.
- Load and unload trailers safely and in line with company procedures.
- Report any errors, damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties.
- Accurately input data into Company computer systems and manual records.
- Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy.
- Achieve set targets (KPIs) and job standards.
- Maintain high standards of site house-keeping.
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately.
- Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary.
- Put suggestions for improvements forward where appropriate.
- Assist other team members as necessary.
- Support Colleagues and Team Leader with all day to day tasks.

**MHE Warehouse Operative requirements:**
- Experience of operating MHE, either LLOP, Reach Truck or Counter balance is essential
- VNA operation experience is highly desirable but not essential
- RTITB or ITSAAR certification would be beneficial
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions with good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to targets and deadlines
- Numerical and focused on accuracy
- Basic computer literacy and experience of data inputting
- Awareness of Health and Safety regulations, including manual handling
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to use initiative and identify issues at work and suggest options for improvement
- Previous experience of working within a Warehouse environment

**Location**: Gorsey Point NHS - Widnes, Cheshire
**Contract Type**: Permanent
**Hours**: Rotating shifts 07:00 to 15:00/15:00 to 23:00 or Night shift 23:00 to 7:00
**Salary**: Starting from £10.72 an hour for rotating shifts (07:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00). From £13.55 an hour on night shift. (23:00 to 07:00)
