Connolly House is a dynamic 14 bed inpatient Recovery Unit for Service Users experiencing Psychosis.
An exciting opportunity has come up for a Band 2 Support Worker to join the team at Connolly House.
The successful individual will be working as part of Connolly House's excellent and committed multi-disciplinary team.
The role will include supporting the nurse in charge to deliver care to 14 patients experiencing complex and enduring mental Health. This includes facilitating a wide range of activities to support people in their recovery to meet their maximum potential and enabling service users to access relevant local community resources which would support their discharge.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is able to build effective working relationships and be able to demonstrate a commitment to client centred practice.
We offer a commitment to support staff with regular supervision and CPD; an opportunity to gain specialist experience in recovery based practice; support to undertake training and professional development opportunities.
We are happy to discuss flexible working opportunities.
Covid-19 full vaccination may be a condition of employment for this role, unless an exemption applies. The successful applicant may have contact with vulnerable service users and we will therefore seek proof of being fully vaccinated during the recruitment process.
