**Payroll Administrator**
Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our national client is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.
This job would suit someone with experience in payroll, HR and general administration.
This company is well known in their industry and offers an exciting role within a business that is going through a very exciting time.
The successful individual will have a keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance. They will have excellent communication and system skills, including experience with ADP Payroll module. Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite is desired,but not essential.
Job responsibilities:
- Work with Payroll Manager and HRIS Manager to ensure accurate reward data is entered and maintained in ADP and timely processed
- Coordinate with HRIS Manager / Payroll Manager to create and maintain employee records in ADP and Oracle
- Ensure input of monthly payroll variables as relevant per different Payroll groups (holiday, sickness, salary changes) - maintaining appropriate internal records of such.
- Support communications and administration of Global employee ownership scheme.
- Verify payslips and reports from payroll (with second check performed by Payroll Manager)
- Support with monthly Pension uploads and details updates on the pension provider portal to finalise monthly payments to provider
- Support with monthly Childcare Vouchers order
- Save payroll related reports and invoices, ensuring appropriate access and data protection
- Ensure provision of final payslips and P45 to all departing employees
- Coordinate receipt of compliance documentation from employees, e.g. approved timesheets from FTC project employees and update specific payroll PDE grid accordingly
- Cross check and liaise to correct any discrepancies between declared reward data across all relevant platforms, e.g. ADP reflects correct base or daily rate pay
- Consider and advise on any procedural improvements or streamlining to improve efficiency, compliance and/or reduce potential for error or data breach
- Actively seek and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding relevant regulations
