MMP Consultancy are working with a fantastic public-sector organisation to recruit Disrepair & Litigation Administrators & Disrepair Case Officers to join them on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent.

We are seeking experienced professional to assist the Senior Housing Officer in providing an efficient and effective Housing Service to the Council, particularly focusing on legal disrepair claims.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in establishing, maintaining, operating and developing administration systems
- Operating and maintaining electronic and manual systems to provide detailed and accurate information for the business of the section
- Dealing with customers enquiries and requests for information in relation to the business of the section
- Providing an operational support for the fee earners, case officers and managers in the section
- Issuing standard legal documents within the time limits required and to assist in the preparation of legal documents for court
- Updating the operational systems and databases of the business accurately and promptly
- Producing statistical information, as and when required e.g monthly, both from manual records and from the operational systems, and to maintain accurate records of the information produced
- Effectively operating the Housing Repairs System and to carry out the accurate inputting and recording of the disrepair information for the section to ensure the prompt processing of disrepair cases and repairs works orders after they have been authorized to proceed
- Carry out all tasks within the target times se by the department, your managers and corporately by the council
- Dealing with correspondence and undertake any follow up action effectively
