As a CNC Operator you’ll be playing a pivotal role in the continued success of a well-established business, who are going through a period of rapid growth with no signs of slowing down.
They are experts in sheet metal fabrication, providing bespoke products to a wide range of clients within the architectural sector.
As the title suggests, you’ll be operating CNC machinery in order to produce a range of parts within established parameters and specifications. We’re ideally looking for an experienced sheet metal worker, who is a bit of an all-rounder.
You’ll be expected to load and unload raw materials, set up and calibrate accessories, and keep detailed records of procedures and equipment, amongst other duties.
Sound working knowledge of RADAN would be extremely beneficial, as it is a key piece of software that will be utilised in your day-to-day role. Additionally, a background in CNC programming, AutoCAD and/or welding would be a distinct advantage.
Full training and support will be provided by the director, who is very accomplished and champions the development of his employees.
The salary for this role is between £28,000 and £30,000 DOE (£15/£16 per hour).
