MMP Consultancy currently have an opportunity for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join a local authority based in West London. My client is looking for a Stock Condition Surveyor who has experience in working with either social housing or local authority stock.

This will be an interim position paying £206.33p/d Umbrella. My client can offer a 6 month interim contract.

**JOB PURPOSE**

To undertake stock condition surveys on Council's existing housing stock to update current stock condition data held in the asset management system. Stock condition information to be collected using specialist software which will upload the data into assetmanagement database in real time. Assist with dealing with queries arising from the surveys and data collected.

**Role Duties**:

- To complete inspections of council owned and leased properties in order to complete stock condition surveys.
- To visit properties, carry out inspections and prepare outline schedules of work to enable budget costings and programmes to be prepared.
- To inspect the condition of estate boundaries, footpaths and communal areas within estates and blocks of flats.
- To carry out periodic fire risk assessments of blocks of flats.
- To ensure that any urgent repair work identified is incorporated into programmes or recognised as day-to-day repairs.
- To carry out ad hoc surveys including in connection with the right to buy and for the preparation of energy performance certificates.
- To collate all information necessary
