Techtron Limited is a chemical contract manufacturer located on the Deeside Industrial Estate specialising in the development and manufacture of industrial and consumer products. We’re looking for a process orientated Production Supervisor with a ‘can-do’ attitude to support the rapid growth of our company.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for controlling the daily activities of the production floor reporting to the Operations Manager. The main responsibilities of this role are:

- Order labour requirements in line with the production plan and induct new agency staff before assigning them activities.
- Identify and understand the daily production requirements from the production plan and assign staff to their activities
- Communicate expectations to production operatives and appraise their performance.
- Providing training to the operatives to ensure safe and effective use of all equipment
- Provide advice and support to production team members to help resolve production issues quickly.
- Monitor hourly/daily production output to ensure that production meets the planned activities
- Maintain regular communication with all departments to ensure that production requirements are clearly identified.
- Ensure that any machine breakdowns/problems are communicated to the engineer and are rectified in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line management systems

We're looking for someone who has proven supervisory and manufacturing experience. Ideally we are looking for someone who comes from food or liquid processing who has experience of managing production filling lines.

3+ years’ supervision experience in a manufacturing operations - production line experience would be advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge and experience of running production lines
- Experience in a BRC accredited factory
- Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as a group
- Strong safety awareness

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
