**Head of Property Management - UK**
In this position you work in a small team and are responsible for the management and maintenance of the UK portfolio of properties Kadans Science Partner owns and operates. The position will lead a small but high performing team of property managers and laboratory managers.
- Oversees a team of Property Management staff who are responsible for ongoing, day-to-day real estate operations of UK properties.
- Drive and manage the property management function, from strategy and process development to reporting and scaling the team.
- Implement processes and procedures to ensure the property management function can scale across the UK business
- An understanding of current industry sustainability levels and identifying opportunities and associated costs/benefits
- Support the onboarding of new tenants and ensuring their requirements are met
- Experience with commercial and life science properties preferred (not essential
- Proven reporting capabilities both locally and to senior management
- Experience and proven track record in implementing planned preventative maintenance strategies over multiple buildings
- Experience in delivering business continuity plans both at local level and portfolio wide
- Set up and managed Life Cycle Costings, Asset Register generation and service maintenance
- The ability to evaluate requirements and set up service agreements for maintenance supply services. This is to include contractor performance and renewal of agreements
- Experience in setting and evaluating KPIs for each site and the portfolio
- The ability to liaise with end users and understand their requirements to allow for briefing of the design team
- Work closely with the asset management team to ensure buildings and campuses are performing at the highest level
- Liaise with head office (Netherlands) property management function to ensure consistency in product and reporting across countries
