**Job Purpose**:
- The AI-EPOCMON team at Intelligent Systems Research Centre (ISRC) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Associate with expertise in AI and machine learning to contribute to an innovative project aimed at developing a cutting-edge, AI-driven, low-cost, multianalyte point-of-care (POC) platform for detecting systemic therapeutic concentrations in biofluids.- The project will focus on showcasing the platform’s ability to measure anti-epileptic drug levels in patients with epilepsy. This interdisciplinary initiative combines advanced AI techniques with state-of-the-art sensor technologies, including surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) and electrochemical detection, to analyse complex multimodal data obtained from patients.- Collaborating with partners at Dublin City University (IR), Trinity College Dublin (IR), and Texas A&M University (US), the post holder will be responsible for developing software that incorporates deep learning and evolutionary optimization algorithms to tackle key challenges in processing medical data. They will contribute to planning research, managing and analysing data, and developing experimental technologies and real-time AI prototypes.-
