Motorpoint is looking for a creative and organised video producer with a passion for online video who can take our content to the next level.
Working closely with the Head of Content, you’ll be responsible for planning, filming, editing and uploading a range of video content. This will include everything from weekly car reviews and in-depth buying guides to videos of internal events and new store openings.
As the first member of Motorpoint’s video team you’ll be a self-starting video creator with experience producing quality, engaging videos for YouTube and vertical social video platforms.
You’ll be an experienced editor, shooter and planner, capable of working with the rest of our automotive content team to create informative stand-out consumer car videos for our audience of prospective car buyers.
As well as being a dab hand at editing and shooting, you’ll have the people skills to handle a variety of stakeholders across the business and plan shoots to maximise video engagement.
Working with the wider content team, you’ll help define a video strategy for YouTube and our other social channels, all with the aim of demonstrating Motorpoint’s expertise when it comes to selling nearly new cars and helping our customers pick the right vehicle for them.
Ideally you’ll have a passion for cars and experience filming automotive content, but this isn’t essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning and filming weekly car review shoots
- Editing all videos and uploading to relevant channels
- Working with the social media team to produce short-form content
- Developing a look and feel for all Motorpoint video content
- Creating new content series to help grow our audiences on all channels
- Working with the wider business to provide video content for a variety of stakeholders
- Analysing video performance to adjust our ways of working to maximise watchability
- Managing video equipment - choosing and maintaining our video gear

Required skills:

- Experience and evidence of creating high-quality, engaging videos
- Experience organising and managing small-scale productions
- An experienced storyteller, who can lead and influence digital first implementations of photography and video within a marketing department
- Awareness of SEO, effective CRM visuals and how a wider brand publishing department function
- Budget management
- Professional experience filming and editing fully end to end
- The ability to create motion graphics and animations within videos
- Maintain an awareness of emerging trends and new ideas to add further production values to content.
- Being a creative thinker
- A full, valid UK driving licence
