We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Writer to join our team in Newcastle. We are also happy to consider science graduates as well as experienced Technical Writers.
This role will be responsible for managing technical documentation to ensure all datasheets are up to date and accurate, including Instructions for Use and SDS in line with regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for

Managing the process of datasheet / product notification generation and updates including multi-lingual translations

Liaising with external translators to ensure documentation is correct

Liaising with Product Management to ensure updates are integrated into the website in a timely manner

Liaising with Manufacturing to ensure all printed documents and labels are up to date

Logging all requests for change in detail with issues identified and track progress

Formatting technical documents using correct templates and where necessary compiling templates

Manage process of internal review of documents and labels required by various parties for final sign off

Manage label design process and updates within Prisym

Manage/administrate Prisym data tables, entities and dependencies

Liaising with Manufacturing to provide Prisym support

Maintain Quality System documentation processes including procedures, instruction, and records.
What you’ll need to do the job

Proven and demonstrable ability to utilize strong IT skills within Microsoft office to achieve business needs.

Excellent organisational skills

Attention to detail

Strong communication/influencing skills

Ability to manage workload within agreed timescales and prioritizing
