**What you'll do**:
As a Contracts Team Leader, you will lead and motivate a small team of contracts and procurement administrators and procurement analysts

Day to day will involve:

- supporting your team to ensure contracts are administered accurately and in a timely fashion (experience using NEC templates or similar required)
- developing spend analytics, market analysis and reporting dashboards to support the category and transactional procurement teams
- liaising with the wider procurement teams to provide support for their activities
- managing workload across the team and identifying opportunities to improve processes
- liaising with wider business and commercial stakeholders
- ensuring all activities adhere to procurement policies, procurement rules and Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016
- contributing to the Procurement Leadership Team agenda and direction.

You will have strong analytical skills and superb attention to detail. You will think broadly and enjoy leading a team

In addition, you will have/be:

- knowledge of contract administration in a construction or similar environment (NEC or similar)
- an understanding of eSourcing systems (eg, Jaggaer, Coupa, etc)
- knowledge of procurement policies and procedures
- the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- the ability to analyse data from varying sources and develop reporting dashboards
- experience in improving processes and implementing new ways of working
- working towards becoming a member of CIPS or gaining an equivalent qualification
- knowledge of procure to pay processes
- an understanding of procurement in a regulated business (water industry or other)
- experience leading a team
- highly organised, articulate and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
