An Excellent opportunity has arisen to work as an Empowerment Advisor in an award winning, trauma informed, dynamic, expanding, high profile, women’s Charity - Tomorrow’s Women (TW). TW delivers a comprehensive, women’s centred approach to minimising female imprisonment and offending. It does this by offering a safe ‘women only’ environment and by reducing the personal, social, health and economic disadvantages experienced by women through working in partnership to improve access to all relevant services and community resources, tailoring target interventions to the individual women’s need.

We are a charity for women, run by women, offering support with a range of issues including domestic abuse, mental health, substance misuse, wellbeing & confidence, and social inclusion. We have a passion to support and empower women and girls from all backgrounds facing any personal issues, to live equal and fulfilled lives.

**Main Purpose of the role**

The purpose of the role will be to engage with and support a case load of female clients some of whom are within the Criminal Justice System, to support and facilitate the removal of barriers for women for them to progress safely in their lives.

**Key duties and responsibilities**
- To support a caseload of women from across the Wirral areas Working with them in a supportive, motivational capacity.
- To work under the guidance of the Criminal Justice lead & Empowerment Advisor Senior Manager and Empowerment Advisor Manager and provide cover for existing Empowerment Advisors duties when needed.
- To deliver in-house courses and workshops.
- To assess women’s barriers and to work with them to develop a holistic and in-depth work focused action plan with defined activities which the individualneeds to complete within agreed timescales. Working closely and intensively with individuals to gain trust and ‘buy in’ to proposed actions.
- To liaise with other specialist agencies and stakeholders to understand and utilise other sources of support and advice to help support women progress with their lives. Ensuring that evidence requirements are met in order to meet Progress measures.
- Ensure that data sharing protocols are strictly adhered to.
- Provide timely and accurate progress reports, identifying operational issues and proposing and developing solutions.
- To attend internal and external meetings
- To provide the monthly reports on progress against action plans.
- To be responsible for achievement of all targets set by line management according to both qualitative and quantitative criteria.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £23,850.00-£25,000.00 per year
