As the Global Data and Analytics Director you will be responsible for building data and analytics strategies, measurement frameworks, and setting measurement KPIs for campaigns and business goals.
Having an agency background is essential as you will use your knowledge of media buying, planning and activation to provide actionable insights and recommendations in collaboration with the performance and insights teams.
Using your previous management experience you will lead the data and analytics team.
The Global Data and Analytics Director role will be responsible, but not limited to the following:
- Responsible for management of the data and analytics team.
- Responsible for building data and analytics strategies, measurement frameworks, analytics models & setting measurement KPIs for campaigns and business goals.
- Responsible delivering data analytics projects including but not exclusive to dashboards, and planning metrics
- Responsible for presenting complex data and analytics concept in a simple format to internal and external stakeholder for approval.
- Responsible for setting the annual data and analytics roadmap and deliverable - Responsible for managing and developing new and relevant data and analytics solutions for improvement of said practices.
- Responsible for working closely with cross functional teams to support, educate and encourage importance of measurement and support better data collection - Responsible for delivering roadmaps, playbooks, and frameworks.
- Responsible for providing actionable insights and recommendations in collaboration with performance and insight teams.
- Assesses digital marketing data and systems and identifies risks and opportunities to enhance capability development.
- Responsible hosting monthly sessions with global and local teams to share knowledge and upskill team members.
- Identifies inefficiencies in data-to-decision processes across digital analytics, personalization, business intelligence, and experimentation domains and recommends solutions to improve.
- Responsible for development of data and analytics team and the ongoing optimisation of data tech stack.
- Identifies inefficiencies in data-to-decision processes across digital analytics, personalization, business intelligence, and experimentation domains (Test & Learn) and recommends solutions to improve.
- Responsible for hosting Quarterly QBRs with client’s collaboration with internal teams.
- Adheres to governance rigor of existing data mart processes, procedures, controls, standards, tools and templates (as required).
**Qualifications**
- Strong understanding of Media buying/planning/activation data - Must have experience in managing internal and external stakeholders 4
- Team management experience
- Must have agency experience
- Be a problem solver with a keen analytics mind.
- Hands-on experience of Analytics tools (GA, Webmaster, adobe).
- Experience of Data visualisation and BI tools such as, PowerBI, tableau, GDS.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel - Macros, VLookup, pivot tables etc.
- Beneficial to have experience and knowledge of AWS/or other cloud service, backend + front end experience of Digital AD platforms - Double click, adwords, DSPS, trade desk, amazon.
- Beneficial to have advanced analytics experience and model building such as - Clustering, CLTV, Rates of diminishing returns, Correlations etc.
- Beneficial to have practical knowledge of coding languages such as Python, SQL, VB etc.
