Commercial Account Handler

We are currently recruiting for a **Commercial Account Handler** with a rapidly growing specialist Broker who has a great opportunity to work with their loyal Clients.
They want you to have insurance experience, ideally from a Commercial Broking environment, but above all positive and confident communication skills to enable you to work with and assist their Clients and their enquiries.
The position will entail handling a range of General Commercial Insurance from Quotation stage through to Renewal. You will therefore need to have the drive to get the best possible deal for your clients, as well as a good eye for detail, but also a proactiveapproach to ensure that you maximise all opportunities of gaining their business.
**Key responsibilities of the Commercial Account Handler role include**:
- Completing the administration of your Client's insurance requirements including general enquiries, renewals, new business and midterm adjustments
- Dealing with incoming enquiries from Clients, Insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner
- Developing and maintaining strong Client and Insurer relationships
- Providing technical expertise across a broad range of commercial insurance business
- Occasional client visits in support of the Account Director
- Ensuring the adequacy and appropriateness of cover
- Providing effective day to day management of the client relationship
- Negotiating with insurers
**To be successful in this Commercial Account Handler role you will demonstrate**:
- Confident communication skills
- Good working knowledge of general Commercial Lines business and the Broking market
- A Can-do attitude with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work to deadlines and multitask in order to get required work carried out
