**SALARY**:£30,000 per annum + Vehicle + Fuel Card + Benefits

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an EPOS Engineer Technical Training Manager who has previous 'hands on’ experience working as an EPOS Technician, installing terminals, updating hardware and software, networking etc. with more recent experienceas a Trainer, training engineers and monitoring the quality of installs.

The EPOS Engineer Technical Training Manager is an essential part of the hiring and training process within a company. As the EPOS Engineer Technical Training Manager you will identify training requirements and develop plans for training new and existingemployees.

As the EPOS Engineer Technical Training Manager you will need advanced experience with instructional methods, team coaching and skill development. You will use these skills to support the rest of the team and ensure all employees are properly trained andworking to company standards.

**DUTIES**

Your duties as the EPOS Engineer Technical Training Manager include:

- Develop an onboarding programme for new starterswhat does day 1 look like, day 2 etc following their induction
- Responsible for documenting all engineering processes
- Training new and existing staff
- Auditing quality of work conducted by exiting staff
- Upholding standards
- Determining and documenting requirements for new contracts and engineering projects
- Determining fix times, evaluating fix times v actual and addressing gaps by way of training
- Collect information from senior management and other departments regarding how well employees retain information and use the concepts learned in training courses
- Liaise with account managers on issues faced and develop training to prevent the reoccurrence of issues
- Develop a succession plan for the departments and train to gain a person to fit every department
- Cross-training plan across departments
- Administer tests after the completion of training courses to determine the effectiveness of training strategies
- Create printed and instructional materials to be distributed during training
- Out in the field coaching guidance and assessment
- Write documents for new hardware and train out
- Train people on our systems i.e. halo, assetrac etc
- Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training employees
- Create internal marketing materials to be distributed throughout the company to announce training programs and details
- Work on a plan with apprentices to ensure the company gets the best out of people

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience working as an EPOS Technician preferably within the Hospitality industry
- Experienced Trainer with the ability to carry out training needs analysis and develop and deliver courseware
- Excellent client facing skills
- Quality control experience with a view of improving existing processes and systems
- Flexibility to travel to client sites
