As part of our expansion plans, OTT are seeking a talented HSE Advisor to join our team.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

As a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor, you will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within our organisation; your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential health, safety, and environmental hazards.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures that promote a safe work environment to mitigate risks and ensure compliances with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Providing training and guidance to employees on best practices for health, safety, and environmental management. Regularly conduct toolbox talks or safety meetings with employees.
- Collobarating with cross-functional teams to create and refine policies and procedures that align with industry standards.
- Investigating incidents and accidents, identifying root causes, and recommending preventative measures.
- Monitoring and reporting on key health, safety, and environmental performance indicators.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Understanding of Construction Safety standards and processes
- Advanced IT capabilities including being proficient on Microsoft Office
- Ability to advise on technical training requirements
- Strong communication / interpersonal skills will be key, along with the confidence to present and deliver training

Tech IOSH membership would be advantageous, as is an understanding of P-Way Standards and knowledge of ISO auditing and accreditation. Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
