Our client a leading Social housing contractor are seeking an experienced supervisor / team leader to join their established repairs, voids & planned maintenance teams due to increased volumes of work within its property services division. This contractorhas several long ongoing established contracts with social housing clients as well as new contract awards in Oxfordshire.

In this role you will be assisting in ensuring that all response repairs are undertaken and completed within the required timeframes stated and that they exceed the minimum service standards set by the client, and this would suit an experienced Carpenter/ Plumber looking to progress with more responsibilities.
- £35,000 - £36,000 per annum
- £22-£24 per hour

Duties of the Role
- To ensure that the contract is financially viable within your restraints
- To proactively achieve this through actively assisting in the management of directly employed teams, and Sub Contractors as required and to post inspect works on completion as directed.
- To assist in the management of direct labour operatives and ensure that support is given on any technical problems raised.
- To plan work effectively and efficiently, making best use of resources available
- To work closely with other staff to ensure best service delivery.
- To carry out ongoing inspections of works of both direct teams and Supply Chain Partners to ensure quality standards.
- To assist in the reporting of performance indicators and the analysis of performance data to identify areas of potential improvement.
- To assist in the satisfactory resolution of client and tenant issues relating to all aspects of the project.
- To assist with void works as instructed

It is essential / desirable you have the following criteria:

- Experience in a repairs & maintenance social housing environment
- Planning & Organising of trade works
- Qualified in at least one trade or building services area
- General understanding of all trade works within direct control
- Health & Safety awareness
- Quality inspections of Trade works
- Ability to work under pressure
- Highly organised with a good attention to detail Proactive and positive, 'can do' attitude.

All roles will be covering Oxford and surrounding areas.

The client will consider temporary full-time contractors with the opportunity to be taken on a temp - perm basis, or immediate direct permanent staff.
