**Shakespeare Walk-In Centre** is seeking a proactive and patient-focused Patient Navigator/Receptionist to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing exceptional care in a compassionate environment, where patients are always at the heart of what we do. This is a part-time contract.
You’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless, patient-centric experience through efficient telephone and administrative support. In-house training in patient navigation will be provided to enable you to support and guide patients in accessing the right services and healthcare professionals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls efficiently, managing high patient volumes
- Direct calls and take messages as necessary
- Sort, review, and distribute internal mail
- Process outgoing mail following established procedures
- Manage patient records by pulling, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents into electronic systems
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and organized, ready for use by colleagues
- Receive and appropriately distribute incoming deliveries
- Prior experience as a patient navigator is desirable
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with basic office software
- Friendly, approachable, and patient with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to follow instructions and procedures with attention to detail
- Highly organized with good communication skills
- Able to work effectively with a wide range of people

**Shakespeare Walk-in Centre**, located within the Inner Leeds area, has a diverse patient population who present with a variety of medical and social needs. The Walk-in Centre is open 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm including bank holidays.
