Part Time Field Merchandiser

We’re looking for a part-time Merchandiser to join our team. Visiting stores EXETER/EXMOUTH/CREDITON area
- Tidy and replenishing cards on store fixtures
- Move stock from delivery locations to the fixtures and storage
- Re-ordering stock for displays, as and when required
- Help keep our card displays inviting and well stocked
- Update Hallmark on any opportunities or challenges your store is facing

Please Note: This is a physical role with lots of manual handling such as lifting, bending and kneeling. You will be on your feet for long periods of time.

Merchandisers are the face of Hallmark in the retail environment, so you need to:

- Be able to work on your own initiative and be reliable with a professional, approachable manner.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you’ll be speaking with staff in store and Head Office employees.
- Have basic IT skills, comfortable using computers and mobile devices are a must too.
- Previous experience isn’t essential; but you’ll have an advantage if you’ve previous experience of working in a similar role and/or retail environment.
- Car and Driving Licence is essential.

You’ll get a minimum of 9.5 hours per week, typically on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.

A degree of flexibility is required, especially during peak periods like Christmas and Valentine’s Day, this can include weekends especially peak period, as full re-plans of the card area will be needed to make sure our customers can shop the right cards, at the right time.

You’ll also get £9.50 per hour, expenses, mileage and great holiday entitlement.
