Process Technologist

**Process Technologist (Manufacturing)**

We are looking for an experienced process technologist to join our quality and technical department. Tiger Tim Products Ltd is an established and growing company and are the global leaders in the manufacturing and distribution of Firelighters and BBQ products.

Job requirements of Process Technologist:

- Oversee all new product development to ensure smooth process and auditable product files.
- Specification reviews
- Legal validations
- Sample preparation, product launches
- Factory trials
- Effective liaising between Quality Technician and Production Manager to optimise machine efficiency with product design.

- To be methodical and efficient
- Great attention to detail
- Previous experience in process development within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent time management
- Product development
- Formulations
- Technical support to production operations and the site
- Identifying new materials and packaging in the marketplace
- Progress new formulations and materials from lab scale to full production runs
- Maintain standards to BRC & ISO
- Solving any problems with existing products
- Liaising with customers and suppliers when required
- Reformulating of existing products
- Ensure full compliance with Company Quality, and Health and Safety requirements.
- Finding solutions for packaging for production and shipping
- Support with creating factory quality standards & supplier Quality Assessment Sheets

**About you**:

- You will have relevant degree and manufacturing / packaging FMCG industry experience.
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- Good IT, numeracy, and communication skills
- High level of safety and sound understanding of relevant regulations
- Willingness to work with Operational, Production and warehouse managers.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
