**Summary**:
- Are you looking to join the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)? We are seeking potential Fees Clerks to join our teams at CPS.
- As a Fees Clerk in the CPS, you will have a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations, from handling information on figures to liaising with the Finance Business Centres and more.

**Job description**:
- The Fees Clerk provides a monthly report to the Finance Manager within pre-set timescales before the Accruals are due to be sent to Finance Business Centre every month.
- To identify what logs have received from The Court Team into the inbox and check them against the MIS Finalisations Report and to ensure that all fee logs comply with the fees Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and any that lack content are flagged and sent back to the court teams to correct.
- .**Responsibilities**:
- To process all fees folders submitted by the court teams within 20 days of last hearing date for payment.
- Provide general assistance to the team by performing a range of administrative duties as and when required.
- To build and maintain good working relationships with external agencies and other members of the Criminal Justice System to ensure the smooth operation of CPS business.
- Deal with standard and some non-standard telephone enquiries and correspondence, producing basic letters, following a standard format.
- To liaise with Finance Business Centre when necessary and regularly check the Intranet to keep updated on information relating to the Graduated Fees Scheme & Very High Cost Cases fee scheme.
- The ability to breakdown information to produce figures on what has been paid to each individual Chambers in a month
