Cancer Project Support Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Cancer Services Team, within the Corporate Division of the Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. The role involves supporting the Cancer Project Manager with the development and delivery of the Rapid Diagnostic Service (RDS) projects. This will include the production of project documentation, the organisation of meetings, liaison with colleagues and the creation and maintenance of project files. The post holder will also manage smaller scale projects and be heavily involved in working with clinical and operational teams across Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The role requires the post holder to be in close contact with the RDS team members. They will organise and administrate RDS meeting and assist in the development of presentations and reports. They will assist with the development and delivery of a broad range of RDS projects and maintain project management tools such as project action logs. Excellent computer / keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel are essential.
