Are you considering expanding your career and gaining more experience in Breast Surgery? We can offer you the best opportunity to achieve your goals.
Join our busy Breast Unit at Peterborough City Hospital as a Trust Registrar to complement our specialist set of skills and knowledge and expand our expertise in this speciality.
At North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, we have one of the busiest Breast units within the region providing comprehensive breast care services to a population of around 500,000. The unit disposes of a modern and purpose-built screening unit where our team treats between 350 to 400 new breast cancers each year and performs up to 200 oncoplastic procedures and reconstructions.
You will be a senior breast trainee, who wishes to gain more experience and training in specialist oncoplastic procedures and reconstructive breast surgery.
We value your experience and support your career. If you are a suitable and experienced Registrar, we can give you independent operating lists when required.
We believe working within the breast speciality to be hard but rewarding requiring a balanced job plan with allocated time for reflection and education. Therefore, we will offer training opportunities and Continuing Medical Education at our teaching facilities at Peterborough City Hospital, or our partner institutions Addenbrookes Hospital and the Clinical School in Cambridge.
