**Online Sports Reporter**: We are looking for an Online Sports Reporter to source and produce unmissable sport content for our digital platforms.

**Your Role**: The Online Sports Reporter will be responsible for sourcing and producing unmissable sports stories which keep our audiences engaged and updated on all things sport.

**Day to day you will**:

- Create high quality sports stories from end to end, including; sourcing, writing and building multi-platform content with an emphasis on engaging, shareable stories
- Stay on top of the UK and Scottish sports conversations and developments, spot and quickly turn round agenda-setting stories to ensure we are the first with breaking news and live stories
- Be an advocate of the newest digital platforms and look to always be thinking how we can adapt to successfully tell our stories on them
- Manage the production and presentation of newspaper stories with a particular emphasis on identifying the best lines for an online audience
- Stay updated on what engages our readers and get them coming back, and keep them engaged.
- Manage the Scottish Sun football page to ensure it is packed with outstanding, creative and engaging content to maximise traffic

**What we’re looking for from you**:

- A passion for all things journalism and sports, with an inquisitive mind and impeccable eye for detail.
- A proven track record of sourcing, writing and building high quality content at a Scottish Sun standard.
- Good working knowledge of SEO and an ability to create content which is social media friendly.
- An ability to work across all current and emerging digital platforms and be a quick thinker, who can perform under pressure and spot a Scottish Sun digital story and develop it.
