This exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the forward looking and enterprising Logistics/Transport team of an Acute Trust.You will be responsible for the delivery of goods to various locations of a busy acute hospital service and for ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day Transport and Stores function.

We need an enthusiastic person with an understanding of Logistics. You will be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be able to assist the Logistics Manager as and when required.

Specific responsibilities include receiving and receipting of delivery notes onto the in-house computer system (SBS), delivering to Sterile services, medical records, Pharmacy and general distribution of goods and paperwork to agreed locations within the Trust in a timely and efficient manner.

You will need to be flexible and capable of working effectively within the busy environment of the Trust's Transport and Stores Teams.The Trust operates from two District General Hospital sites which are eight miles apart.
