We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team

A chance for you to care for and help others to live a more fulfilling life, and to earn new qualifications while you do.

We are a residential care home based in the heart of Littleover. We are only registered for 17 clients, and therefore have a very personal and friendly approach and atmosphere.

You will need to:

- provide personal care and support for adults who may have some physical and sensory disabilities, and occasional challenging behaviour.
- assist the manager and his/her deputy to carry out duties to ensure the smooth running of the care home within the legal requirements of CQC.
- undertake key working with service users living in residential care home.
- liaise with other health or social care professionals involved in service user’s care.
- to support service users in all activities of daily living like cooking, washing and shopping etc.
- to complete accurate and precise daily reports of service users progress.
- safely and accurately administer medications to service users.

You will required to be flexible in your working patterns to suit the needs of the service, including working night shifts (as waking staff & sleepover cover), and on weekends and Bank Holidays.

Above all you will need to have a patient and caring nature with excellent interpersonal skills, so that our service users can receive the highest level of care.

Pay: From £11.44 per hour
