We’re currently looking for a Stock Control Specialist to join our welcoming and close-knit H beauty family. Whether you’re looking for your first break into retail, or have experience which you want to build upon, we have a space for you.
Recruiting across our Gateshead store, we’re looking for people who live and breathe beauty, who can create an exceptional customer experience while selling our market-leading products across the Fragrance, Makeup and Skincare departments.
H beauty is no normal beauty hall, with a champagne bar, blow dry bar, interactive playtables to try on the latest products, a Harrods gift shop, and a big pink bear for your Instagram pictures; we are focussed on the experience our customers have when they walk through our doors.
About the role
The Stock Control Specialist is a key role within our new and exciting beauty concept, “H beauty”. As Stock Control Specialist you will strive to deliver above and beyond for our customers and colleagues every day. You will ensure that deliveries are processed efficiently and accurately, and that stock is stored appropriately to the Harrods standard, working alongside the Sales Manager and Retail team. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Stock Control Specialist will provide vital analytical insight and trend analysis to support the stock management process and ensure the efficient flow of goods.
About You
In this role, you will demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to multitask, being able to monitor and manage stock take and sales preparation simultaneously. You will have attention to detail whilst working to tight deadlines, with the ability to Issue and solve stock audits, interpret data and quality control in a timely manner.
You’ll also:
- Have the ability to remain calm, and measured when under pressure.
- Be familiar with SAP functionalities and have good PC skills.
- Enjoy the thrill of achieving KPI’s.
- Have great organisational skills to keep the stock room running smoothly.
- Be adaptable and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with your stock operative and shopfloor staff.
