**What you'll be doing**:

- As an Innovations Industrial Placement student, you will play a key role in generating ideas to enhance a company’s products, services, and processes.
- This placement is focused on fostering innovation and driving continuous improvement. You will develop skills in research, idea generation, and project implementation, gaining valuable experience in turning creative concepts into impactful solutions.
- The Innovation team at Balfour Beatty focuses on developing and implementing new technologies to improve how infrastructure is designed, built, and maintained. They work on projects like automating processes using AI, enhancing construction efficiency through digital tools like BIM, and exploring new technologies for future job sites.
- Their goal is to boost productivity, reduce carbon emissions, and improve safety across all projects. Ultimately, the team helps position Balfour Beatty as a leader in sustainable and smart construction.

**Who we're looking for**:
For this position, this would be a year-out of university, ordinarily in placement of a third year.
