Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Reception Class - 1-1 Support)

Location: Liverpool, L10

**Salary**: Competitive, depending on experience

Contract: Full-time, temporary (academic year)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm

Aura Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Liverpool, L10, to provide one-to-one support for a pupil in our reception class. This role also involves assisting with small group intervention sessions to enhance learning outcomes.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide tailored one-to-one support to a pupil within the reception class.

Assist in planning and delivering small group interventions under the direction of the class teacher.

Support the overall classroom environment, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning space.

Encourage pupil engagement and participation in activities.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to pupil progress reports.

**Requirements**:
Experience working with young children in an educational setting, ideally within Early Years or Reception.

Ability to effectively support individual pupils with varying learning needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and parents.

Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children’s educational and emotional development.

Relevant qualifications or willingness to work towards qualifications in childcare or education.

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
