**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor network performance and system alerts using NMS tools
- Perform first-level incident diagnosis, escalation, and resolution
- Troubleshoot issues related to routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Document incidents and actions taken in the ticketing system
- Work in collaboration with L2/L3 engineers for issue escalation and resolution
- Ensure adherence to operational processes, SLAs, and customer service standards
**Requirements**:
- **2 to 4 years** of experience in a **NOC environment**:
- **CCNA certification** (mandatory); CCNP is a plus
- Exposure to **Cisco routers and switches (ISR, ASR Series, IOS, IOS-XE)**:
- Basic knowledge of **Cisco Data Center technologies (Cat6K/N5K/7K, ACI)**:
- Understanding of **network protocols, routing, switching, and network security principles**:
- Exposure to multi-vendor environments is preferred
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift rotation if required
**Preferred Skills**
- Exposure to scripting languages (Python, NodeJS)
- Familiarity with Cisco Wireless, Load Balancers, and Unified Communications tools
- Basic understanding of ITIL and incident management processes
- Previous experience in a **Carrier / ISP environment** is a strong advantage.
