Gilbert Gilkes and Gordon Ltd are looking to recruit a **Warehouse Operative** to join the Stores Team to process inventory received from internal and external suppliers, the role will be a mixture of goods in and main stores. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure production and assembly requirements are met correctly and on time.

**The Role**
- Picking material for machining and build.
- Dealing with customer orders.
- Ensure all safety objectives are observed.
- Receive, inspect, and process inventory from internal and external suppliers.
- Booking in and out of inventory using computerised inventory control system.
- Assist department with identifying obsolete inventory.
- Identify shortages on delivery notes.

- Have a high level of attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- The ability to work in a systematic and thorough manner.
- Have good communication, planning and organisational skills.
- Have high energy and commitment.
- Flexible, adaptable and a positive attitude to work.

**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**
- GCSEs in English & Maths at Grade 6 (A-C) or equivalent.
- You will need to be computer literate.
- You will have exposure to a similar working environment e.g. industrial or manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of technical systems.
