Accounts Assistant

My client is a £40m turnover business based in well-appointed offices near Stourbridge in the Black Country. It continues to show strong growth across many of its chosen marketplaces, and is now seeking an Accounts Assistant to offer additional support tothe Accounting Team.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the role will involve:

- Raising sales invoices
- Posting purchase invoices
- Uploading payments from Sage into their banking system
- Uploading invoices from internal software into Sage
- Credit card statement reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- General administrative tasks

There will be also opportunities to assist with other areas of finance, including the preparation of information for month end, more complex reconciliations, and costing. A good level of the Microsoft office suite is essential, and some knowledge of Sagewould be highly advantageous.
