Senior Network Engineer - £40,000 - £57,000 - Leicestershire Enderby - Hybrid

VIQU is currently hiring for a Senior Network Engineer to join a large organization in the retail sector that highly operates in Cisco house technology-driven while using Palo Alto firewall and will be focusing on Python Automation. The Senior Network Engineerwill be vastly experienced in routing protocols with demonstrable experience working within a variety of network devices, especially Cisco.
The Senior Network Engineer will get involved with network transformation projects involved in planning and decommissioning legacy solutions, creating network plans and documents, and implementing the latest Cisco technology to ensure a high quality of serviceis maintained and managed.
As a Senior Network Engineer your focus will be on Python Automations while using Cisco Identify Services Engine - ISE, Cisco DNA Centre, and Cisco Software Defined Access SDA.
You would be required to be on-site at least once a week to support and maintain the business's core network infrastructure in Leicestershire.

Experience
- 1 year plus experience in Python Automation
- Cisco Identify Services Engine - ISE, Cisco DNA Centre, and Cisco Software Defined Access SDA
- Latest Cisco hardware and OS’s - IOS -XR, IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS
- Palo Alto firewall
- Cisco Meraki and Cisco Nexus
- Python
- SD-WAN (across 500+ sites)
- IT networking, switching & routing
- WAN protocols & circuits - MPLS, Ethernet
- Dynamix IT routing protocols - BGP, OSPF,
- High
- and low-level design documentation
- Core management
- CCNA qualified
- CCNP (desirable)
