**About the Role**: As the Engineering Maintenance Shift Engineer, you will be joining a world-leading material automation provider. You will receive a competitive salary and a desirable benefits package, including enhanced holiday and pensioncontributions and a superb wellbeing programme.
The Engineering Maintenance Shift Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of Multi-Skilled Shift Engineers, Maintenance Technicians & IT Support function.
This is a highly autonomous role where you will be working with mínimal supervision. The Shift Manager is a key point of contact for the customer and is responsible for maintaining equipment reliability. You will ensure technical knowledge, and that of yourteam, is up to date and all preventive activities are completed to the highest engineering and H&S standards. You will support the Engineering Managers in a proxy capacity and will communicate with other Shift Managers to ensure continuity of approach andthat standards are maintained. You will coach and mentor new technicians on all pieces of equipment
**Requirements**:To be successful within this role we are looking for someone who is qualified (ONC/HNC or Full B-Tech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering) and ideally, Apprenticed IOSH or equivalent Trained. You should be self-motivated, enthusiasticwith effective communication skills. An understanding of WCS/WMS or SCADA equivalent and an understanding of CMMS / PPM philosophies is desirable.
